Add Next Play to your home screen
Put your space one tap away and get new bookings, messages, and changes on your phone.
Updated June 30, 2026
Adding Next Play to your home screen takes about 15 seconds, and it is the best
way to run your day from your phone. For the smoothest experience, we recommend
it.
Why it is worth it
Once Next Play is on your home screen, it:
- Opens in one tap, so you can check your day with no web address to type.
- Can notify you the moment a family books, sends a message, or a session
changes. - Lets you manage sessions and check people in from anywhere.
On an iPhone or iPad
Open Next Play in Safari, then:
- Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen. It is the square with
an arrow pointing up. - Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add in the top corner. The icon appears on your home screen.
- Open Next Play from that new icon.
- Tap Allow if it asks about notifications.
Apple has this written up with pictures:
Turn a website into an app in Safari.
On an Android phone
Open Next Play in Chrome, then:
- Tap the menu, the three dots in the top corner.
- Tap Add to Home screen, then Install.
- Confirm, and the icon appears on your home screen.
Google’s version is here:
Use web apps on Android.
Turn on notifications
Open Next Play from the new icon and tap Turn on notifications when it asks.
That is what lets us reach you about new bookings, messages, and session changes.
You are in control, and you can turn it off any time in your phone’s settings.
You do not have to hunt for these steps. When a notification would help, like in
your Messages, Next Play shows you the same prompt right where you are.
